Additional Information:

Start line – corner of Rockside Road and Clarewood Avenue.
Bus will leave the Games Village to the start at 3:30 pm
Then go onto the finish line at the Bull Ring on three Mile Hill / Whare Flat Road. Returning to the Games Village at 6:00 pm from the Bull Ring.
This is a 7.5 km hill run of moderate difficulty that will give spectacular views of Dunedin and surrounding areas. Most runners will finish in the hour.
The run takes in Ross Creek reservoir tracks, the Pineapple Track to the Skyline Ridge track and then to and over Flagstaff (Alt 666m) to finish at the Bull Ring.
There will be a water station at 5.5 km – the top of the Pineapple Track and water available at the finish. A medic will be in attendance at the finish.
The track off the top of Flagstaff is very rough and stony so runners must take care on the downhill run (approx 900 m) to the finish line.
Medal presentations at the Games Village, 8:00 pm
