DOG HANDLING RULES:
• Dogs must be 18 months or older on the day of competition for flygility, agility and cross country.
• Handlers must be 35 years or older on the day of competition.
• Eligibility for flygility classes is based on Link results and will be determined by the organisers.
• Eligibility for agility and obedience is based on the dog’s NZKC championship status as of 6th January 2006. Please advise Diana or Lynn as soon as possible if your dog’s status changes before this date. Dogs may be entered in as many agility and obedience classes as they are eligible for.
• Handlers who have previously won out of Special Beginners at a championship show may enter Beginners obedience with an eligible dog.
• Food is permitted in the Heelwork to Music competition, but not in any other class.
• A dog can only be entered in one cross country class, either short or long.
• Handlers and dogs do not need to be registered with the New Zealand Kennel Club.
• Bitches in season may not compete in any class.
• Classes are based on NZKC competition, but some NZKC rules may not apply. A full set of rules will be available upon registration, or contact the organisers for more details.
• Late entries (after the 6th of January) will not be accepted.
• Please do not write notes to the organisers on the entry coupon or registration form, as we do not receive these. Please contact Diana or Lynn directly with questions, requests, etc.
