Smallbore Rifle Shooting

The East Otago Smallbore Rifle Association is conducting the Smallbore Rifle Shooting at the 2006 Masters Games in Dunedin.

The indoor event will be 3 x 10 shot matches, shot under Target Shooting New Zealand rules.

Dates Saturday 4 February

Squadding 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

Age Groups 35 – 49; 50 – 64; 65+;
Master, A, B, C, D Grades in all age groups

Competitors to shoot in one grade only - 2005 gradings will apply

Social Grade Open to non affiliated persons who would like to give shooting a go
Shoot off a rest
Two ten shot matches
Age Group 35+
Rifles and ammunition supplied

The Outdoor competition will be held on Monday 6th February

The course of fire will be 1 x 30 shot match, shot under Target Shooting New Zealand Rules.

Only affiliated shooters to compete in outdoor competition
Due to the Gun Club Shooting on their range on Monday morning the outdoor competition will commence at 1:00 pm.
Squadding to commence at 12:30 pm and close at 2:00 pm
Afternoon Tea will be supplied
The match will be fired at the Otago 50 metre Pistol Club Range at Waldronville
Age groups as for indoor shoot
Grades as per current New Zealand grading, if you are not graded for outdoor, use your indoor grade and come back one grade. Eg; Master and A indoor becomes B Grade outdoor.
