Date of Sport:	Friday 10th to Sunday 12th February 2006

Venue:	Logan Park Tennis Centre (20 Flexipave Courts and 4 Artificial Grass Courts) Edgar Tennis Centre (16 Artificial Grass Courts) Logan Park Tennis Centre is the Headquarters Venue. The Edgar Centre will be used in the event of inclement weather. All players report to Logan Park Tennis Centre daily.

Time:	Play will commence at 8:15 am each day

Fees:	note that the fees for Tennis are $20 per player per event in the printed Registration Book this is not clearly defined.

Friday Singles and Carnival Doubles
Saturday Doubles
Sunday Mixed Doubles

Age Groups:

35 – 39; 40 – 44; 45 – 49; 50 – 54; 55 – 59; 60 – 64; 65 – 69; 70+
(If insufficient entries are received the organisers reserve the right to combine age groups)
(Note: partners are drawn “from the hat” for Carnival Doubles and the event is not played in age groups)
Formats:

Entries will be seeded as accurately as possible within each age group, and the competitions will be played in the “pool” system utilised in previous years.

All matches in all events will be best of 21 games.

Catering:

Food and refreshments will be available at both venues.

Social:

At Logan Park Tennis Centre on the conclusion of the play each day, there will be a full bar service and a “sausage sizzle”.

Medal ceremonies will be held at Logan Park Tennis Centre at the conclusion of each days play.

Controlling Body:

Otago Veterans Tennis Association
