While Aaron was at the South Island Masters Games he recognised a face from his home town. He ran into Murray Taylor. Murray was at the games competing in the 10km Walk, Euchre, Cross Country, Indoor Rowing just to name a few. And from the photo evidence you can see he did a superb job! Murrays results were:

A Gold and 3 Silver Medals for Indoor Rowing (pictured)

A Gold Medal in the 10km Walk (pictured)

A Gold Medal in the Cross Country

A Gold Medal in Euchre

A Bronze Medal in 40+ Table Tennis Mixed Doubles

A Silver Medal in Minigolf

A Bronze Medal in the 5km Walk

Murray has not long finished volunteering for the Rugby World Cup as a driver for the teams and officials. Prior to that he helped out volunteering for the Winter Games. Next on Murrays agenda will be volunteering for the Masters Games in February and no doubt competing in that as well to add more bling to his medal cabinet.
