Games Hub & Entertainment

The Masters Games is renowned for the entertainment and social occasions and these are a big part of the Masters Games Experience.  It provides you with the opportunity to meet up with like-minded sports enthusiasts from around New Zealand and overseas. The Otago Community Trust Games Hub provides a central location for all of this to happen.

The Otago Community Trust Games Hub is the place to be during the 2024 Masters Games. This Games we have decided to take it back “Old Skool” so it will be located at everyone’s favourite, the University Union. It all happens in the Hub with nine fun-filled days and nights of entertainment and action. We have some sports being competed, some medal ceremonies awarded, and of course, with all the day and night time action happening this is the a great event for spectators and Masters alike.

Check out the full line up of our talented artists performing at the 2024 Otago Community Trust New Zealand Masters Games below (subject to change).

Master Minds

The Masters Games are serious business, so we thought we could lighten the mood with three comedians who take being funny very seriously. Although none of them have won medals in anything, they’ve all done shows around New Zealand to sell-out crowds, and one even recently broke their collarbone attempting to ride a bicycle. Jonathan won Best Comedian at the 2021 Dunedin Comedy Awards, Harriet won the hearts of Dunedin audiences with her recent sold-out solo show ‘Lickdown’, and Nicola once took out the top prize for the iced carrot cake at the Lake Hayes A&P Show. What more could you ask for?
